• Nutritional Benefits: Plums are considered to be highly nutritious due to their high levels of antioxidants, especially in the skin. They contain phenolic compounds and anthocyanins that support anti-inflammatory health benefits. The skin is rich in polyphenols like quercetin and chlorogenic acid, which may help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress. Eating the whole fruit, including the skin, maximizes these health benefits, aiding digestion, supporting heart health, and protecting the body from free radical damage.
